At the LURC meeting next Monday, April 6 at 6:00 PM, Byrd Barr Place, and virtually by zoom, there will be a presentation by the applicants for the new building proposed by CAYA.  At 119 23rd Ave.  The proposal is for a four-story building with approximaA new home for the nonprofit, plus 37 affordable condos above, is proposed at 119 23rd Ave. 

The project would replace the CAYA’s longtime home, along with a house it owns next door.  There will be several dozen stalls for bike parking; a few underground car-parking spaces may be provided.  

Allied8 is the architect for the housing part of the project and Fivedot is designing the CAYA space.  The housing developer is Habitat.
