Will the January Printed Newsletter be our Last?

SPCC depends on donations to produce the newsletter and hold quarterly meetings. We print 3,400 newsletters quarterly, costing approximately $975.00 for just the printing. A printed newsletter has proven to be SPCC’s  most important communications tool; almost all new attendees and contacts report that receiving the printed newsletter provided the incentive to engage. Essentially, a sustainable $4000.00 per year or $1000 per quarter would be required to continue delivery of the printed newsletter.

Newsletter content is provided by volunteers, and they are hand delivered to your doorstep by a team of dedicated neighbors.

SPCC has not found a sustainable flow of donations to continue printing the newsletter following this one. We always welcome your ideas on stories and production strategies for the newsletter and website.

Recently we created a website, and quarterly meetings will continue, but engaging all neighbors will be difficult without the newsletter. Really, we need your ideas, skills and talents.

Donations of any amount, even a few dollars, will make it possible for us to continue. Donations may be made via Zelle with the recipient as council@squirepark.cc. We also accept cash and checks at our meetings or via USPS to Squire Park Community Council (or SPCC), C/O Central Service Center, Suite 100, 464 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122
